Part Time | Cleaning Crew Member
This position performs various tasks and related services at the assigned location(s). Performance of duties must consistently be at or above the level set as acceptable by the company.
As a Cleaning Crew Member, your primary responsibility will be maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various designated areas. You will perform multiple cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and visually appealing environment for staff, visitors, and customers. This role requires attention to detail, good time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced cleaning crew member to join our team. As a cleaning crew member, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine clean environment in our facility. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Work Hours
Various based on customer need. Below is an example Thursday-Friday 5:00 PM- 10:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM-6:00 PMResponsibilities
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, walls, and surfaces. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Surface Care: Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to maintain a sparkling appearance. Ensure surfaces are free from smudges, fingerprints, and marks.
- Maintenance of Supplies: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed. Keep an inventory of cleaning products and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished. Maintain proper storage and organization of cleaning equipment and tools.
- Compliance with Safety Standards: Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Use appropriate cleaning agents and chemicals in accordance with safety regulations. Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate cleaning schedules and tasks. Communicate any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department. Respond to inquiries and requests from staff and visitors courteously and promptly.
- Adherence to Policies: Follow company policies and procedures regarding cleaning protocols, confidentiality, and professional conduct. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of individuals and their belongings.
- Special Projects: Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned, such as deep cleaning, carpet shampooing, or floor waxing. Work with specialized equipment and follow specific instructions to complete these tasks.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas in the facility, including but not limited to restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
- Perform tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in the appropriate containers.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications
- A valid Driver’s license.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in commercial cleaning.
